I’m super thrilled to announce that chop’d & KNOMO have been acquired Inc & Co and will form part of a brand new division, Inc Retail.

I’ve been humbled to have met the teams behind both brands, and I’m looking forward to kickstarting 2021 with the launch of Inc Retail, under the expert eye of Dan Shaw.

“The acquisition of chop’d & KNOMO marks a significant step for us into the retail arena, and I’m proud that both brands have a strong Manchester presence. As a customer of chop’d, I’m looking forward to once again being able to eat out with friends and work colleagues.”

Inc Retail Group will be headed up by newly appointed, experienced industry expert Dan Shaw, who has been brought on board as Managing Director of the retail group. “Dan and I have a unique shared vision for how we believe we can reimagine the high street and he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to make that vision come to life,” says Mason.

Dan Shaw, the former board director at Jones Bootmaker, most recently headed up retail innovation at intu shopping centres. Shaw brings extensive experience in wholesale, franchise, and retail operations, and is looking to bring several brands to sit within the retail group that complement Inc & Co’s vision.

Inc Retail Group will soon be announcing further acquisitions in the pipeline, and this initial acquisition of KNOMO & chop’d will propel the retail division in Q1 2021 and beyond.
