The last two weeks have been nothing short of an adventure, which sums up Inc & Co perfectly. As group CEO, I’ve been on the move to catch up with our incredible brands and seek out new opportunities. Sometimes it helps to stop and actually look back on how much you’ve achieved in such a short space of time, and so I thought I would give a real insight into what we’ve been up to recently as we stay on the lookout for growth and expansion.
From Barcelona to Amsterdam, A European Pursuit
Our journey began in the vibrant city of Amsterdam, before quickly moving onto Dublin. Our serviced office provider, incspaces, is eyeing new horizons, and Dublin and Amsterdam have emerged as promising locations for expansion. These cities offer the perfect setting for our vision and allow us to further provide high-quality spaces to clients.
Dublin also provided the opportunity to sample a Guinness for the first time. It’s fair to say that it’s certainly an acquired taste, but it was made better with a catchup with Billie & Susan from incspaces.
Back to Where It All Began – Manchester
Manchester, a city close to my heart and the home for a few of our brands was the next stop. It was a homecoming of sorts, an opportunity to reconnect with our teams in person and catch up on some projects we have planned. There was even time to visit our very own premium men’s barbers and treatment destination, King Street Grooming for a freshen-up and a chance to see our barbers and therapists in action.
Balancing the Hustle: Family Time
In the midst of my globetrotting adventures, it’s essential to find balance. A weekend was set aside to spend quality time with family and friends back in Northumberland, recharging for the week ahead. After all, family is at the core of what we do.
Exploring the South: Haywards Heath and Brighton
My journey continues with a planned trip south. In Haywards Heath, we’re preparing ourselves for the opening of the brand new Baldwins Travel store this week, which will be graced by the mayor of the town. The team at Baldwins have been continually smashing their targets and providing top-quality service, as proven by their recent award win for Travel Agent of the Year London & South East England Small Agency and this new store further shows their hard work and dedication paying off.
Just a short distance away in Brighton, we will also be meeting with our team at Maker&Son to plan the future of our luxury furniture brand. The team have been doing an incredible job at restoring the Maker&Son name, and our mobile showrooms are continuing to be a hit with customers.
Homeward bound
The journey comes full circle and it’s back to Barcelona, and then comes the burning question of “where to next?”.
